Frequently Asked Questions
This program is not for everyone. From experience I've seen that it is most effective for:
- people that don't have any structure in their Russian learning
- people that struggle to use their knowledge to have conversations in Russian
Most people that go through the program have tried to learn Russian before. But haven’t found the success they needed with other methods.
The Russian Conversational Blueprint is completely different from more traditional methods of learning Russian. It focuses only on the essential things you need to learn Russian quickly and have conversations fast.
It also focuses on strategic habit-building, so learning Russian becomes fun, easy and automatic.
So if you’ve tried to learn Russian before only to end up frustrated and stuck, the Russian Conversational Blueprint is a good investment to make in your Russian skills.
Once you enroll, you’ll receive instant access to the Russian Conversational Blueprint.
The course is structured as a 4 module program. You get lifetime access so you can work through it at your own pace and with your own Russian goals in mind.
Here’s what to expect when you login to the member area:
- Every module has a theme and contains 4 to 5 lessons. Each lesson takes from 10 to 30 minutes to complete.
- You focus on vocabulary during the first module. Then in module 2, you focus mainly on grammar and a bit of vocabulary. In module 3, it's mainly listening skills and grammar, and vocabulary. Then in module 4, you focus mainly on speaking, with added vocabulary, grammar, and listening skills.
- The reason why I built the program like that is that you need vocabulary before your grammar becomes useful. And you need vocabulary AND grammar before you can listen well. And before you can speak, you need to have a solid base in vocabulary, grammar, and listening.
- After completing the program, you can choose from one of the different schedules (ranging from 20 minutes to 2 hours per day), and follow those to implement everything you've learned in the 4 program modules.
- In addition to the program material itself, you’ll get direct access to me to ask for help with your Russian skills at any time.
The program is self-paced, so you can decide for yourself how much time to spend on the program. You can go through the main blueprint in a weekend (or take a more relaxed approach and take longer - you have lifetime access).
After having gone through the main Blueprint lessons, you start implementing the materials and you can choose between 3 learn Russian schedules:
- 15 to 30 minutes per day
- 1 hour per day
- 2+ hours per day
When I say 'per day', I mean dailyish. So it's okay to skip a day once a while, but aim to spend at least 4 to 5 days per week practicing.
You can follow these schedules for as long as you like. There's plenty of material to keep on progressing untill you're upper intermediate.
I followed the early versions of these schedules for about 2 years. But you can also follow it for a shorter period of time to focus on specific areas of your Russian that you need to work on.
That's a great question. First of all, the program is designed to help you speak better, even if you do not have anyone to practice speaking with.
The method is called “Clear Speaking Practice,” and I’ve used myself to quickly improve my speaking skills.
Also, when you learn in the classroom, you can't speak because the way they teach you grammar and vocabulary is ineffective and inefficient. So it's no wonder you can't speak well. After all, how to speak when you don't really know how to say anything?
But with my methodology, you build rock solid foundations and the habit of studying Russian consistently. This means that when it comes time to speak, all the Russian words and phrases you need are fresh in your mind - exactly where you need them.
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this program for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own. You also get lifetime access to all future updates - updates are made at least once per year, with new lessons and bonuses packed with new strategies that are working for me.

Age is a concern for many people. A 30 year-old usually has a better memory (usually), than a 75-year old.
However, one thing I noticed with my older students is that they often do well despite their age. In fact, maybe they do well BECAUSE OF their age. They are more responsible, more committed, and often have more time to spend on learning Russian.
Another thing that often motivates older students is that learning Russian has plenty of health benefits to make your brain stay active and sharp for the years to come. So if you ever find yourself thinking "I'm too old to learn Russian", then that may be the exact reason why you should keep learning Russian. Challenging your brain means keeping it sharp, active, and agile.
Besides that, lots of people learn language when they’re older. And the biggest determiner of language learning success is the approach you take and the time you consistently put in, rather than your age.
